This version of the website provides no user account, contact form or proprietary newsletter subscription. The website does not automatically collect email addresses.

Local search

Internal search runs in your browser. Search terms are not sent to the editor or to a third-party search service.

Language preference

When you arrive on the homepage and your browser does not list French among its languages, the website opens the English version. Other pages always keep their address: a banner only offers the other version when it exists and better matches your browser’s languages. Your choice (FR and EN buttons, banner) is stored as a simple code in the browser’s local storage and takes precedence over this detection. This preference is not sent to the editor or used for advertising. You can remove it in your browser settings.

Audience measurement with Google Analytics

Only if you agree, the website loads Google Analytics 4 through the Google tag associated with measurement ID G-RKEJVY4XVC. This service can measure visitor numbers, sessions, pages viewed, traffic sources and approximate information about location, browser and device type. Its purpose is to understand overall use of the website and improve its content.

Until you agree, nothing is loaded from Google. The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline just as easily; the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page lets you change your mind at any time. Your choice is kept for six months in your browser’s local storage. Declining deletes any existing _ga cookies. The assessment tool (/en/evaluate/) and the recommendation review tool never load audience measurement, even after you agree.

In its standard configuration, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including _ga, and send Google technical data about the visit. Cookies and analytics retention

The lifetime and retention of identifiers and statistics depend on the Google Analytics configuration and browser settings. Google states that the GA4 cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id> have a default lifetime of two years, subject to browser limitations and the settings applied to the service. You can delete or block these cookies in your browser settings.

Tool data

The website’s tools (AI project assessment, works council checklist, pilot file) run in your browser: answers are not sent anywhere and no identifying data is requested. The English assessment tool may keep a draft in your browser’s local storage; you can erase it from the tool or in your browser settings. The Préconisations tool (in French) is the exception when it analyses a text with Jev: how it works is described on its page.

Technical hosting

The website may be hosted by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may process technical data required to secure and deliver the service, including connection logs, under its own privacy policy.

External links and services

Opening a publication, LinkedIn, Substack or another external website is governed by that service’s privacy policy. Fonts are hosted on this website: no request is sent to Google Fonts. Apart from hosting, no third-party service is contacted before you agree, except on the Préconisations page, which queries its own server (hosted by Vercel) to check whether the Jev analysis is available.

Contact and data minimisation

Contact is voluntary through LinkedIn. Do not send health data, confidential company information or sensitive personal data.

Your rights

Where information is sent directly to the editor, you may request access, correction or deletion. You may also contact the French data protection authority, CNIL.
